This recall affects the Eddie Bauer Slumber and Soothe Rock Bassinet (model number BT055CSY), and the Disney Baby Doze and Dream Bassinet (model number BT071DHS). The numbers can be found on a label on the backside of the sleeper pad. These bassinets prop infants at a slight incline. They are rectangular and have a soft bottom, cushioned fabric, and are used for sleeping infants from 0-6 months of age. The Eddie Bauer option is beige while the Disney version is purple.
We have not tested either of these infant bassinets. However, you can read more about bedside sleepers and infant bassinets in our review of the Best Baby Bassinets.
Concern/Hazard
The incline of the sleeping surface could cause potential breathing difficulties for infants. Infant fatalities have been reported using other inclined sleep products, but not these products specifically.
Confirmed Incidents
None at this time, though deaths have been reported in similar products.
