A swaddle is a great way to keep your baby safe, warm, and happy, with many parents reporting it helps newborns sleep better and fall asleep faster. There are many choices, ranging from newborn to toddler, for use in warm climates and cold winters.

We purchased the top 14 products available to find the best swaddling blankets, sleep sacks, and wraps. We tested each for comfort, ease of use, and durability or longevity. With hands-on experience and at-home testing, we can help you find the perfect swaddles for newborns or sleep sacks for older babies.

Our favorite sleep sack is the Woolino 4 Season Ultimate. This versatile sack is good for most seasons and sizes. It is naturally flame retardant and temperature regulating, thanks to the wool interior design.

Our favorite swaddle for newborns is the Miracle Blanket. This guided swaddle is easy to use and helps keep Houdini babies cozy and snug. It's also durable enough to be handed down for generations.

If you are looking for items to help soothe little ones, we've tested sound machines for babies for white noise and lullabies, night lights, and pacifiers for sleeping comfort. Looking to keep an eye (or ear) on what is happening in the nursery? We've also tested baby monitors.

Editor's Note: This review was updated on April 3, 2025, to add three new popular products from Happiest Baby, Ollie, and Copper Pearl.
