Our Analysis

Suri the Octopus and Friends have been discontinued.

The company Mayapple baby was founded in 2011 by two Brooklyn-based parents whose daughter's bout of teething brought them to their knees. They invented Suri the Octopus and his teething friends creating a line of teething toys that are not only stylish but eco-friendly. In fact, their company's guiding principles are to create products that are safe, useful, quality, and environmentally responsible. Now, this is a company we can stand behind!

Their teething toys are made from German-grade medical silicone and are free of heavy metals, phthalates, nitrosamines, and BPA. They have been tested to be free of choking hazard. Varied sensory textures with grooves and nubs placed in just the right spots help provide little gums relief. A great size for little hands, Mayapple baby's teething toys are easy to grab onto and hold and are a great developmental toy to boot.
