Our Analysis

Written by a passionate champion of cloth diapering, Changing Diapers: The Hip Mom's Guide to Modern Cloth Diapering by Kelly Wels is an excellent and supportive resource for understanding why using cloth diapers is so critical to our overall health and the environment. Without sounding preachy or condescending, Kelly Wels provides a wealth of qualitative and quantitative information gained over the years as founder and previous owner of two online cloth diapering sites, DiaperShops.com and KellysCloset.com.

Winner of a Mom's Choice Award, Changing Diapers is changing the way we think about cloth diapers; it provides tips on how to travel, clean, use and find cloth diapers, as well as offering a generous list of other cloth diapering resources and to-do checklists, especially helpful for first-time expecting parents. There's even a section dedicated to fathers. Kelly Wels keeps it simple, personal and humorous in this 230-page book published by Green Team Enterprises in October 2011.

Changing Diapers is also available as a Kindle e-book for $3.
