Our Analysis

This sleep sack made of 75% cotton exterior and 25% polyester interior quilting is breathable yet keeps baby warm without overheating. Easy shoulder snaps make for simple diaper changes in the middle of the night and it is easy to put on, even while a toddler is standing upright.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends transitioning from swaddling infants to placing them in appropriately-fitting sleep sacks early on in infancy to further reduce SIDS risk. AAP published this article in 2013 which advises to discontinue swaddling at 8 weeks of infancy.

The Baby Deedee Sleep Nest comes in many different body and piping colors, plus a Glow in the Dark zipper option. They are available in three sizes: Small (0-6 months), Medium (6-18 months) and Large (18-36 months).

A lightweight version called the Baby Deedee Sleep Nest Lite made of double-layer jersey cotton is also produced for milder climates and summer time.
