Our Analysis

Here is the perfect sunhat you've been searching for! Made of 100% water and stain resistant nylon/polyester and Supplex® fabric consisting of certified UPF 50 sun protection, this versatile sunhat with generous front brim and neck veil allows baby to play in the sun and water longer and more safely. It packs flat or can be rolled into a cone for easy travel and storage. The Smart Strap breakaway chin strap helps with keeping the hat on, which is especially useful in the swimming pool, while the elastic band inside the hat helps to keep it snug on baby's head all day long. The mesh piece on this fast-drying hat keeps the baby cool, too.

As much as we adore these highly functional and attractive sunhats, we still recommend using sunscreen for full protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. If you're taking baby swimming, you might also want to look at Schlori swim floaties which we also recommend.

Available in lots of bright and cheery colors (some with different colors inside the hat than outside the hat), these Sunday Afternoon sunhats come in four sizes: Infant (0-6 months); Baby (6-12 months), Child (2-5 years) and Youth (5-9 years).
