Our Analysis

Rockin' Green Bare Naked Babies (Unscented) Laundry Detergent is made especially for machine-washing cloth diapers (but also can be used on other items) and is available in three formulas based on water type (hard rock = hard water; soft rock = soft/softened water; and classic rock = average hardness water).

The lower pH levels make these detergents gentler on cloth diapers and other fabrics, and they're safer for sensitive skin. These unscented detergents even clean better (the manufacturer claims a 60% decrease in stains) and are more efficient in that you need less per scoop compared to other traditional laundry detergents. Each container can clean approximately 45 loads (or more depending on your washing machine).

We prefer the unscented version of Bare Naked Babies, but Rockin' Green Laundry Detergent is available in three scents: Smashing Watermelons, Motley Clean, and Lavender Mint Revival. (Smashing Watermelons is the clear favorite.)
